SHOLA.020
Introducing our one-of-a-kind, Shola Shirt. It has half sleeves, spread collar and a pocket. This product is cut for loose fit. This garment is crafted from vintage double-shade silk with motifs inspired by traditional Indian village life and are hand woven using golden Zardozi.
Zardozi Weaving:
Zardozi weaving is a traditional craft known for its opulent use of metallic threads, typically silver or gold, to create intricate patterns on fabric. This technique involves weaving these metallic threads into the fabric, resulting in a luxurious and textured surface. Originating in ancient India, Zardozi weaving has been historically used to embellish garments with regal and ornate designs.
Keynote from Kārātoyaa:
• Please note, that due to antique nature of the fabrics there may be signs of past experiences - we believe it adds value and a meaning to the garments.
• Some naturally dyed fabrics even after lasting generations may leave colour
• Please keep in mind that all Kārātoyaa pieces are Dry Clean only with the Professional service provider.
