Introducing our one-of-a-kind, Chaca shirt. It has long sleeves, a pocket & has a collarless neckline. It also has a beautifully pleated back. To produce one shirt 6 metres of fabric is required. This product is cut for loose fit.

This garment is crafted from vintage silk in a regal green shade. Minimalistic from the first sight, it boasts hints of contemporary flower motifs, embroidered using traditional Kantha technique.

Kantha Embroidery:
Kantha embroidery, originating from the Bengal region of India and Bangladesh. Historically, Kantha was born out of the practice of repurposing old fabrics, with women stitching together layers of worn-out saris and dhotis to create something new and beautiful. The uniqueness of Kantha lies in its simplicity and versatility—the running stitch used in this embroidery style not only reinforces the fabric but also forms delicate patterns and motifs, often depicting scenes from everyday life, nature, or mythology. What makes Kantha truly special is its ability to tell stories—each stitch carrying the memories and dreams of those who crafted it.
