In modern-day Iraq, archeologists have uncovered rose quartz beads likely made by Mesopotamians around 7000 BC. Rose quartz jewelry made by Assyrians in 800-600 BC has also been discovered. Moreover, Rose Quartz intaglios were popular in ancient times for creating seals in the Middle East and Rome. It's a stone rich in mythology and synonymous with the whimsical gods and goddesses of history like Aphrodite and Adonis.

Rose Quartz is a pink form of quartz. It is also known as Hyaline Quartz. It has a pale pink colouring and a translucent transparency and a vitreous luster. It also has a hexagonal crystal system and is in the mineral class of quartz. The meaning of Rose Quartz is Love and Compassion.
